The Hopkins Academy boys basketball team qualified for the postseason by defeating Greenfield, 73-64, Thursday night in Hadley.

Cousins Andrew Ciaglo and Colin Earle combined for 56 points to lead the Golden Hawks (10-5).

Ciaglo finished with 32 points, including 11 from the free-throw line. Earle scored 24 points. Ryan Antes contributed eight points in the win.

Belchertown 62, Mohawk Trail 41 — Jordan Lanoue finished with a game-high 20 points, while Nate Sajdak added 15 as the Orioles (6-7) pulled away in Buckland.

Tyler Grissom chipped in with 10 points in the win.

Pioneer Regional 54, Smith Academy 31 — Caden Guimond had 11 points, six rebounds and three steals but the Falcons (3-11) fell on the road.

Frontier Regional 54, Mahar 49 — Brett Robinson and Peter Carey combined to shoot 10 of 11 from the free-throw line down the stretch as the Red Hawks (11-3) held off the Senators (7-6) in Orange.

Carey had seven free throws en route to a game-high 17 points. Robinson finished with nine points. Sean Richter added 11 in the win.

Mahar trailed by nine with just over a minute left before two 3-pointers made it interesting.

Renaissance 65, Granby 64 — The Rams (6-6) had a one-point lead until Abdul Hassan hit a runner for the Phoenix with 4.9 seconds remaining in the game.

Nathan Breault led the way for Granby with 19 points, and Ryan Gaughan added 12. Steven Torres Jr. had 11 points to go along with six assists, two steals and three rebounds.

Ludlow 77, Gateway Regional 50 — Jayden Santiago-Lopez put together 18 points and 11 rebounds for the Gators (2-13). Evan Cortis also contributed 18 points.

Monson 85, Hampshire Regional 65 — Eighth grader Jamil Rodriguez scored 25 points for the Raiders (6-8). Justin Forest chipped in 15 points.

Girls basketball

Greenfield 59, Frontier Regional 47 — Amelia Sobieski scored a team-high 15 points for the Red Hawks (10-3, 3-1 Franklin North).

KaitlynMackin chipped in 11 points for Frontier, which qualified for the Division 3 postseason with the win.
