I was very sorry to read of the business closings in Williamsburg.

I am hopeful the Williamsburg Market will survive as a co-op. It is a fine market and definitely needed. It seems too bad that the townspeople did not get the opportunity to hang on to the pharmacy in the same manner. That opportunity would have been a great benefit to everyone.

Now they have lost the Brewmasterโ€™s, a wonderful restaurant with reasonable prices and great food. I wonder if it is no longer possible for individual businesses to prosper, or if there isnโ€™t something people can do to bring back these services.

I was a resident of Williamsburg for many years and fondly remember the great library, the market, the wonderful General Store, the fine schools and the great restaurants.
