The South Hadley hockey team scored three goals in 13 seconds during the second period en route to a 7-1 victory over Chicopee, Saturday at Fitzpatrick Ice Arena.
The Tigers scored four goals in the second to take a 5-1 lead into the third.
Joe Meon, Joe Cigal (assist), Matt Brunelle (assist), Mike Mazza, Cole Hambley (assist), Thenis Tsilibocos (assist) and Aidan Sullivan each scored one goal.
Brunelle, Mazza and Hambley scored their goals within 13 seconds of each other.
Ryan Tucker had two assists, while Austin Deren had one. Anthony Cigal made 27 saves in the win.
Amherst Regional 5, Ludlow 1 โ Chris Foster and Georgios Alimionos each scored twice, while Taylor Hanson added one goal as the Hurricanes (11-3) won at Orr Rink, Saturday.
Kouji Ishida had three assists. Justin Masteralexis and Nick Paul had one helper each. John Hanscom made 23 saves.
Greenfield 5, Chicopee Comp 2 โ Bryan Baumann scored twice and added two assists for the Green Wave (14-2), Saturday at Collins-Moylan Arena.
Sean OโSullivan, Derek Lenois and MJ Paulin each added goals. It was the first career varsity goal for Paulin.
Aidan Roche, Mike McGoldrick, Jacob Bryant (two assists), Kevin Baumann, Shane Prusak and Matt Willhite (two assists) added helpers.
Riley Drew made 20 saves in net.
Belchertown 0, Drury 0 โ Ethan Rajpold earned the shutout as the Orioles (5-5-2) settled for the draw at the Mullins Center Practice Rink, Saturday.
Belchertown 71, Hampshire Regional 68 โ Nate Schiffer and Jordan Lanoue each scored 21 points as the Orioles held off the Raiders in Westhampton, Saturday.
Belchertown (7-7) led 36-30 at halftime, but Hampshire (6-9) rallied to take a 56-53 lead into the fourth.
Owen Raines added 15 points in the win.
Justin Forest paced the Raiders with 30 points. Dylan Rohan and Jamil Rodriguez each had 13 points.
Amherst Regional 50, Chicopee Comp 43 โ Zayd Sadiq had 13 points, while Taylen Pope and Isa Castro-McCauley each had eight points as the Hurricanes (6-7) won on the road, Saturday.
Berkshire Ski League โ Katarzyna Wisnauckas, who attends Hampshire Regional, placed ninth for Mohawk Trail Regional in 18:43, Saturday at Prospect Mountain in Woodford, Vermont.
Mohawkโs Erika Looman was first in 17:51. Northfield Mount Hermonโs Hollin Keyser-Parker (Ashfield) was second in 18:06. NMHโs Celeste DeLeo (Plainfield) was 1oth (18:55).
Anna Burns was 21st (20:28) to pace Amherst Regional, which finished seventh. Mohawk was third (62 points) behind Lenox (24) and Mount Greylock (34).
In the boys race, Micah Bruner was fifth (15:39) for Amherst, while teammate Nor Young was 20th (17:33).
The Hurricanes were fourth with 69 points.
