Bryn Saarela and Teaghan Hall each scored two goals, as the Williston Northampton girls hockey team bested Taft 6-2 at home Wednesday.
Sophia Jones and Katherine McDermott also found the net once each.

Williston 54, Pomfret 50 — Wol Maiwen and Tanner Thomas scored 11 points each in a home win.
Northfield Mount Hermon 66, Williston 50 — Jordyn Meunier hit three 3s and scored 21 points in a road loss. Southampton’s Caroline O’Connor added 15 points and Easthampton’s Selena Negron had nine.
Williston 54, Worcester 40 — Benning Johnson, Henry Wiemeyer and Sam Haddad won events to help the Wildcats improve to 6-0.
Girls swimming & diving
The Wildcats extended their unbeaten streak to 28 meets in a row after beating Worcester Academy.
Mount Institute Ski League — The Wildcats placed third with 182 points led by Gavin Kline in eighth at Berkshire East. He completed his giant slalom runs in a combined time of 85.25 seconds. Deerfield Academy won with 240.
Williston took fourth on the girls side with 130 points. Northfield Mount Hermon was first with 222.
Lily Shields placed ninth (93.28).
