Nora Young scored nine fourth-quarter points then added eight in overtime as the Granby girls basketball team rallied to beat Hampshire Regional, 68-62, Friday in Westhampton.

Young’s effort in the fourth keyed a rally as the Rams entered the frame trailing 45-39.

Young finished with 30 points. Kristen Trembley added 15 points for Granby (8-8, 3-2 Suburban).

Maggie Rubeck (11 rebounds) led Hampshire (11-6, 5-1) with 28 points. Lila Labrie (six assists) had 12 points.

Northampton 61, Holyoke 40 — The Blue Devils stopped the Purple Knights in the second half to avenge a January loss with the win at home.

Northampton held Holyoke to four second-half field goals. The Knights hit seven of their eight 3-pointers in the first half and trailed 27-25 at the break.

Emily Sledzieski had 14 points and Caroline Tanner added 13 for Hamp (12-5, 3-3 Valley League). Jill McGrath finished with 10 points.

The Blue Devils shot 22 of 32 from the free-throw line.

Bianca Ortiz had 14 points and Ashley Vasquez had nine for Holyoke (8-9, 2-3), which needs to win two of its final three games to qualify for the postseason.

Monson 43, Amherst Regional 35 — The Hurricanes led entering the fourth quarter, but the Mustangs (15-2, 7-0 Central) pulled away from the foul line to win the league title in Amherst.

Sydney DeVries scored 10 of her 25 points from the line in the fourth for Monson, which had 14 of its 19 final-quarter points at the line.

Petua Mukimba had 12 points and Tessa Kawall had 10 for Amherst (14-3, 4-2).

Greenfield 46, Hopkins Academy 27 — Sara Beauchamp had eight points and Kasey Earle added seven for the Golden Hawks (10-7, 2-4 Franklin North).

Earle, a freshman had five rebounds, three steals and two assists. She also defended Green Wave 1,000-point scorer Katie Haselton to 16 points, five below her season average.

Smith Vocational 33, Commerce 11 — The Vikings (6-9, 4-3 Tri-County South) took down the Raiders (0-13, 0-7) with help from Nevaeh Stone (six points), Haleigh Pensivy (six points) and Megan Cone (five points).

Frontier Regional 53, Athol 40 — Kylie Laford scored 17 points to pace the Red Hawks (12-5, 3-2 Franklin North) on the road.

Marie Diemand finished with 15 points while Meghan Self added 12 in the win.

Easthampton 45, Pope Francis 40 (OT) — The Eagles (10-7, 4-2 Franklin West) won in overtime to qualify for the postseason with the win over the Cardinals (8-8, 3-2 Franklin West).

Emma Downer had 20 points and Abby Coleman had 15 points.

Boys basketball

Belchertown 63, Palmer 52 — The Orioles (8-9) took down Panthers (10-7) to avenge a loss earlier on in the season.

Jordan Lanoue had a season-high 32 points and shot 10 of 11 from the free-throw line. Nate Schiffer and Nate Sajdak added 12 points each.

Westfield Tech 79, Gateway Regional 41 — Evan Cortis had 12 points, while Taylor Shedd had 10 points and seven blocked shots for the visiting Gators (2-15, 1-6 Tri-County South).

Sabis 65, Easthampton 51 — Gabe Colenback had 18 points and Sean Sabourin added 10 but the Eagles (2-15) fell to the Bulldogs (10-5).

Pathfinder 70, Smith Vocational 51 — The Vikings (7-8, 6-1 Tri-County South) lost to the Pioneers (6-11, 6-1) despite 14 points from Gabe Zink and 10 points from Carlos Rivera.
