Gavin Kline placed third in the giant slalom with a two-race time of 1 minute, 6.08 seconds for the Williston Northampton boys alpine team in the NEPSAC Class B Championships, Wednesday at Waterfille Valley in New Hampshire.
Kline was fifth in the slalom with a two-run time of 1:03.38.
In the girls races, Lily Shieds, of Williston, placed 10 in the giant slalom with a two-run time of 1:11.61. Shields was 13th in the slalom with a two-run time of 1:13.59.
Williston 61, Choate 55 — Cooper Creek finished with 21 points, while Tanner Thomas added 17 and Nick Heafey 13 for the visiting Wildcats.
Loomis Chaffee 62, Williston 60 — The Wildcats overcame a 15-point deficit but fell at home.
Jordyn Meunier finished with 25 points (three 3-pointers) and 10 rebounds. Caroline O’Connor (Southampton) added 15 points, while Easthampton sisters Selena Negron and Cristina Negron combined for 16 points.
Williston 3, Choate 0 — Ava DeCoste, Jules Constantinople and Bryn Saarela each scored, while Natalie Stott earned the shutout in goal for the visiting Wildcats.
Northfield Mount Hermon 7, Williston 3 — The Wildcats trailed by a goal entering the third period at Lossone Rink, but the visitors netted three goals to pull away. Jake Sacratini, Tom Harty and Alex Latkovski scored for Williston.
Westminster 7, Williston 0 — Ty Johnson and Jackson Frechette played well in defeat for the Wildcats.
Westminster 5, Williston 2 — Pooja Prakash Babu and Emily O’Brien both won their matches for the Wildcats.
