Micah Bruner, of Amherst Regional, finished second in 15 minutes, 34 seconds at the Berkshire Nordic Ski League race, Saturday at Notchview Reservation.

Bruner finished behind Col McDermott, of Mount Greylock. He won in 14:50.

Amherst finished fourth with 69 points. Nor Young was 15th (16:56), Henry Geffert was 25th (19:38) and Ryan Yanko was 27th (20:42).

West Williams, who attends Hampshire Regional, was 35th overall and Mohawk Trail Regional’s third finisher in 23:35.

The Mohawk girls team was paced by three Hampshire Regional students. The Warriors finished third with 72 points. Katazyna Wisnauckas was 13th in 19:56, Kala Garrido finished 18th in 22:14 and Elanor Meunier was 25th in 22:56.

Anna Burns (26th, 23:08), Zora Dallmann (30th, 24:58), Elena Humbeck (32nd, 25:27) and Jana Murphy (33rd, 25:38) led Amherst.

Greenfield 1, Amherst Regional 0 — Kyle Barnes scored from Kevin Baumann as the Green Wave (17-2-0) won at home on Saturday. Riley Drew made 19 saves.

Jon Hanscom stopped 22 shots for the Hurricanes (12-4-3).

Belchertown 3, Mount Everett 1 — Chris Buffone had a goal and an assist for the visiting Orioles (7-8-2) on Saturday.

James Greene and Francis Henderson each had a goal in the win.

Wahconah 4, Easthampton 0 — Jayden Darling made 30 saves but the Eagles (3-12-1) fell on Saturday.

South Hadley 5, Chicopee Comp 1 — Ryan Tucker (assist) scored twice, while Thenis Tsilibocos (assist), Matt Brunelle and Joe Meon each had one goal for the playoff-bound Tigers (10-7-1) on Saturday.

Mike Mazza, Joe Cigal and Nate Loughman each had one assist. Anthony Cigal made 19 saves.
