Gavin Kline was fifth and Chris Closuit was 10th as the Williston-Northampton boys alpine ski team finished the Mount Institute Ski League season on Wednesday.

The MISL held its final race at Eaglebrook School. Kline finished the lone slalom run in 48.58 seconds. Closuit finished in 51.29 seconds. Closuit closed the season with 200 points to place 10th in the MISL.

Williston finished third with 182 points in Wednesday’s race. It was fourth in the final standings. Deerfield Academy was first.

Lily Shields finished 10th (56.94 seconds) in the final race to pace the Williston girls team. The Wildcats were fourth on Wednesday and finished fourth on the season.

Girls hockey

Williston 2, Deerfield 1 — Sophia Jones and Riley Roche each scored, while Natalie Stott made 24 saves for the Wildcats at Lossone Rink.

Boys hockey

Williston 4, Albany 4 — The Wildcats led 4-2 entering the third period, but Albany, which pulled its goalie, tied the game with seconds remaining.

Girls basketball

Miss Porter’s 74, Williston 58 — Jordyn Meunier (four 3-pointers) led the Wildcats with 19 points, while Caroline O’Connor (15) and Cristina Negron (13) also reached double figures. Selena Negron added nine points.

Boys basketball

Williston 72, Westminster 47 — Billy Whelan had 19 points for the Wildcats.

Boys squash

Kingswood-Oxford 7, Williston 0 — Steven Wang, Finlay MacDonald, Jackson Frechette and Tyler Johnson each won a game in the loss at home for the Wildcats.
