My name is Mollie Fox, and I am running on March 3 as a write-in candidate for re-election to the State Committee Woman seat on the Democratic primary ballot in the Hampshire, Franklin, & Worcester District.
I have served on the committee in this position for eight years, and I have a 20-year history of progressive activism in the Pioneer Valley. Last year a dear friend of mine was ill, and my involvement at the end of her life prevented me from meeting the deadline to submit my nomination papers. I am nonetheless running a full write-in campaign for re-election, and I am eager to earn your support.
I believe that the Democratic Party should reflect the values of its voters โ respectful to all people, inclusive to those who feel forgotten by society, willing to listen to and learn from people who come from diverse backgrounds, honest about the challenges we face and how we can rise to meet them together.
I have taken great pride in supporting candidates who embody these ideals in my capacity as a State Committee Woman. It is a big commitment to be involved with the State Committee, building a statewide network and coalitions that can move the party in the right direction. I have invested eight years in building those relationships, and I look forward to continuing to work with dedicated activists across the state to support other strong leaders in the years to come.
The Democratic Party needs a broad, diverse, conscientious base of leadership to meet the challenges we face in todayโs toxic political environment. I ask you to re-elect me to the State Committee Woman seat so that I can continue to put my strong progressive voice to work meeting those challenges.
Should you choose to cast your vote for me, please do two things: On the STATE COMMITTEE WOMAN line in the WRITE-IN SPACE ONLY box, please: 1) Write โMOLLIE FOX, 24 Water St., Northamptonโ 2) Fill in the bubble to the right of my name
Thank you for considering, and I hope to earn your vote.
