I want to say thank you to all my many wonderful neighbors who are going out every day and doing essential jobs to take care of the rest of us so that we can “shelter in place.” I want to thank especially all the medical people who work on the front line of this pandemic, but also the people who ensure the food chain continues and who work in the markets and gas stations, the people who keep the power grid up and the water running, and the communications industry so that we can all stay in touch. And all the many others who cannot work from home, but whose work is essential.
