HOLYOKE — Firefighters quickly extinguished a building fire on Cabot Street late Wednesday night.
Fire crews responded to 108 Cabot St. at 10:30 p.m. for alarms and a report from police that flames were showing, according to a post on the Holyoke Fire Department’s Facebook page.
The fire was limited to an exterior loading dock/out-building, the post said. Although a dry-sprinkler system had activated, flames reached the roof of the dock, the post said.
Initial responding units quickly doused the blaze, and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation by fire department investigators.
