NORTHAMPTON — The Massachusetts Department of Health reported 147 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Hampshire County on Monday, up from 128 on Sunday.
The state recorded 13,837 confirmed infections, representing an increase of 1,337 cases since Sunday.
The state also reported 29 more deaths, bringing the total to 260.
Cooley Dickinson Hospital is caring for 12 inpatients with COVID-19. Nine of these patients are in the intensive care unit. Ninety-six patients are under investigation for possible infection.
Ninety-nine people have tested positive at Cooley Dickinson so far.
Baystate Health has 161 inpatients with confirmed COVID-19 infections, with 35 of them in critical care units. Forty-one inpatients are also being investigated for COVID-19.
Baystate has tested 2,131 people, with 1,628 testing negative and 471 testing positive.
