FLORENCE – Julie Kling spent time clearing grass and an over-wintering of leaves from a bed of periwinkle vinca on Friday. Kling, seated near a blooming PJM Rhododendron bush, noted that working in the front yard she’d talked to more people in two hours than she had the whole last month.
