HOLYOKE — Two people were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a car crash on Beech Street Tuesday afternoon.
Holyoke Fire Department Capt. Kevin Cavagnac said drivers of a pickup truck and a car crashed their vehicles at around 3:50 p.m. near the entrance of Holyoke Medical Center at 575 Beech St.
The driver of the car was trapped and had to be extricated by firefighters who used hydraulic tools to remove the car’s roof and lift the dashboard, Cavagnac said.
