In answer to letter writer Cathy McNally, (“Holyoke, change is coming,” June 18) who wanted the Gazette to ask Holyoke Gas & Electric Manager Jim Lavelle “what scares him about activist groups,” may I, a lifelong Holyoke resident, say we are not scared of Neighbor to Neighbor. We just don’t like their philosophy, their motives and their leftist slant. We also don’t like McNally, a resident of Northampton, insinuating nontruths.
We are an independent company and we need no outside help. Mind your own business, Cathy McNally. Put your nose into the business of Northampton, which needs more help than most communities.
