WILLIAMSBURG – Snow Farm staff and volunteers were busy this week setting up for the first of three long weekends of the New England Craft Program’s Seconds Sale Fundraiser, which starts Thursday.
Earlier this year, with help from a Windgate Foundation grant, the property team of Micah Litant and Michael Martindell refurbished the ceramics studio, opening up the space and adding new builds including a new cedar table for eight pottery wheels. Now the sunlit studio will be home to a temporary gallery of firsts and sample work during the broader Seconds Sale.
Board member Nan Fleming, putting out works for sale in the improved space on Tuesday, referred to Litant and Martindell as “the two guys that can do anything and everything.”
