NORTHAMPTON — A Florence teenager was reported missing Saturday and police are searching for her.

Zoey LoBello’s family noticed she was gone on Saturday morning, city police Lt. Alan Borowski said Sunday.

Terri Hart, LoBello’s stepmother, said the 16-year-old is 5 feet, 4 four inches tall and has curly brown hair with blond highlights.

“She left our house yesterday morning at 7:30 a.m. We caught her on-camera leaving the house,” Hart said. “She was wearing a green winter jacket with white fur on the inside, gray sweatpants, black and white Nike shoes and had a yellow and blue backpack with her.”

Police said they haven’t had many leads.

“Last night we were looking for her in a few places we heard she could be,” Borowksi said. “We’re still actively trying to find her.”

He asked anyone with information to contact the Northampton Police Department at 413-587-1100.

“Someone has to see something,” Hart wrote in a public Facebook post that was shared more than 7,000 times and states that LoBello ran away.

Hart was worried midday Sunday.

“She has no money, no life skills and no winter clothes. She’s got to be with someone,” she said, adding, “She may be in danger because at this point we don’t know who she’s with and where she is.”
