S1, the For the People Act, is our best hope because we need to create a more true democracy, that precious vision where every voice is included.
The avalanche of voter suppression bills introduced in 47 different states is so extreme that even corporate America, from Major League Baseball to Dell Computers, has raised its voice in concern. So, too, must we. The so-called 350-plus “election integrity” bills are the real fraud, meant to discourage and disenfranchise as many voters as possible.
S1, the For the People Act, already passed by the House, would ensure a fair standard of voter access across states, put limits on big money in politics, and create genuine accountability by ending gerrymandering. We the people….one person, one vote.
S1, For the People Act, protects and expands voting rights and election security, reduces the influence of big money in our politics and ensures a more ethical government accountable to the people. Please call your senator and voice your support of S1; more importantly, call your relatives and friends in other states and ask them to call their senators.
