The Hampshire Regional girls track and field team won every event except one and defeated Belchertown, 105-24, on Thursday in Westhampton.

Brie Salomao captured four individual event wins. She was first in the long jump (15 feet, 7 inches), triple jump (32-11¾), 100-meter dash (14 seconds) and 200 (29.5).

Jocelyn Salomao took first in the javelin (70-9) and 400 (68.3). Delaney Marek placed first in the discus (70-8) and mile (6:12.0).

Belchertown’s Cameron Ting cleared 4-4 to take first in the high jump.

Boys track and field

Hampshire 92, Belchertown 44 – Gulian Marconi and Josh Denoronha each won three events  Thursday, as the Hampshire Regional boys defeated Belchertown 92-44 in Westhampton. He was first in the triple jump at 35 feet, 1½ inches, the 800-meter run in 2 minutes, 9.7 seconds and the 800 (2:09.7).

Denoronha swept the long jump (17-2¼) and high jump (5-10). They were both on the Raiders’ winning 4×100 relay with Will Delgado and Spencer Reese, which broke the tape in 49.0.

Dillon Neveau won both the javelin (100-11) and 400 (56.0) for the Raiders and was first in the 200 (24.7).

Nicky Elias-Gillette of Hampshire placed first in both the pole vault (8-6) and 400 hurdles (1:11.1).

Belchertown’s Aidan Day won the discus (80½). Sam Hunt was first in the 110 hurdles for the Orioles (17.0).

Boys lacrosse

Westfield 15, South Hadley 7 – Owen Dawson finished a hat trick for the Tigers and added an assist in a home loss. Ethan Roy scored two goals. South Hadley’s Chase Mathers and Charlie Anischik found the net once, while Caleb Bradley added an assist.

Minnechaug 20, Northampton 5 – Tonnor Tobin put away two goals and added an assist for the Blue Devils. Daniel Huntley stopped 17 shots. Northampton’s Ryan O’Connor, Liam Parr and Yano Porter each found the net once. Vincent Fahey had an assist.

Chicopee Comp 18, Amherst 8 – Tyler Borrell (two assists) and Dominic MacDonald (assist) each had a hat trick for the Hurricanes on the road. John Hanscom added a goal and an assist. Jameson Dion found the net, while Jamie Park and Skyler Ferro each added an assist. Liam Johnson stopped eight shots.

Belchertown 11, East Longmeadow 6 – Owen Sedlacek had a first half hat trick, as the Orioles won on senior night.

Belchertown’s Griffin Weiss, Koy Monette, Jaden Wise (assist) and Dan Chrzanowski added two goals each.

Elias Marques contributed an assist.

Boys tennis

Belchertown 5, Ludlow 0 – The Orioles remained undefeated. Tom Vinagre beat Hayden Potorski 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 singles.

Colby Masse prevailed at No. 2 singles 6-2, 6-1 against Ryan Gomes.

At No. 2 singles, Carson Boscher bested Lucas Gonsalves, 6-0, 6-0.

Belchertown’s No. 1 doubles team of Kirnan Corish and Joseph Bianco beat Finn Mateaus and Samuel Pontes 6-0, 6-0.

Jacob Chaisson and Calahan Orzech defeated Samuel Grywalski and Owen O’Shea 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 doubles.

Girls tennis

Amherst 4, Agawam 1 – The Hurricanes dominated singles play to secure a match win where they also picked up a forfeitted point at No. 2 doubles. All three Amherst singles players won in straight sets 6-0, 6-0.

Sofia DaSilva-Askwe beat Meagan McKiernan at No. 1, Lilli Conrad won over Brooke Eastman at No. 2 and at No. 3, Rebekah Hong took down Melena St. Jacques.

Belchertown 3, Ludlow 2 – Natalie Nowakowski’s three-set comeback at No. 1 singles ensured the Orioles remained unbeaten. She beat Malina Dinis 4-6, 6-3, 6-2. Belchertown’s Ava Shea topped Jessica Morgado 6-3, 6-2 at No. 2 singles.

At No. 1 doubles, Megan Gilmand and Olivia Vogel of Belchertown won 6-1, 6-3 against Marissa Balbino and Katie Codding.

Boys volleyball

Putnam 3, Belchertown 0 – Will Hill had three kills, while Troy Pelletier distributed six assists in a 25-23, 25-15, 25-8 loss for the Orioles. Belchertown’s Raghav Surya (kill), Andrew Cowles (two kills) and Ted Wegryzn each fired two aces.

Wrestling

Smith Vocational 30, Hampshire 18 – The Vikings rode four pins to a victory Wednesday night. Joe Podolak pinned Hampshire’s Adin Clifford in 2:10 at 138 pounds.

Smith Vocational’s Forrest McSweeney took down Evan Novak at 152 pounds in 1:05. At 160 pounds, James Buddulp bested Bryce Illingsworth by fall in 2:11. It took Tyler Prats of Smith Vocational 2:45 to pin Max Abel.

For Hampshire, Nathaniel Picard floored Henry Walden in 1:15. Alex Willard pinned Alex Martinez in 1:10 at 132 pounds.
