LEVERETT — A 46-year-old Agawam man is being treated at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield for injuries he suffered in a motorcycle crash on Cave Hill Road late Sunday afternoon, according to the Northwestern district attorney’s office.
The motorcycle the man was riding on the road, which passes by the entrance to the New England Peace Pagoda, went about 20 feet off the road into a soft shoulder.
Leverett police officers performed CPR on the man prior to his transport by ambulance to the hospital.
The crash remains under investigation by State Troopers assigned to the district attorney’s office and the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section.
