AMHERST – Brothers Miles and Charlie Maresca, 7 and 4, of Leverett brought their bikes on a visit Wednesday to the University of Massachusetts Amherst campus – where their father, Tom Maresca, teaches biology – to ride a full circuit around McGuirk Stadium and then some. Before loading up their bikes they also took a spin around the virtually empty parking just north of the stadium. Charlie just got the training wheels off his 16” single speed a week ago and had little trouble keeping pace with his older brother.
