AMHERST — Snell Street will be closed to through traffic Monday as crews from Warner Brothers, LLC of Sunderland complete a top coat of asphalt on the road.
Traffic will be detoured via South Pleasant Street and Northampton Road during the paving.
Crews handling the resurfacing will move to Henry and North East streets Tuesday and Wednesday. Vehicles traveling north will be detoured via Strong and East Pleasant streets during the project.
Residents will be able to get to and from their homes on the roads during the work.
In case of inclement weather, delays may be necessary that could cause a revised schedule.
