All fans attending UMass home indoor athletic events must be fully vaccinated or present a negative COVID-19 test result within 72 hours of the event date, the school announced Saturday.

The policy applies to all attendees age five and older.

For single-game ticket holders, a tented area will be established outside the Mullins Center main entrance in the plaza where vaccination proof or negative tests can be presented. Fans will receive a hand stamp that they will show to the ticket takerย at the entrance to the arena.

UMass students can show a valid UCard for entry, while faculty and staff can present their faculty/staff ID card.

All fans are still required to wear masks while inside the Mullins Center unless eating or drinking.

The first event that will enforce this policy is Mondayโ€™s 6 p.m. hockey game against Merrimack. The Minutemen added the nonconference game over the weekend after their series against Union was postponed due to COVID-19 protocols at Union.

UMass is 3-0 against the Warriors this season, winning two games in overtime.
