NORTHAMPTON – Margo Welch of Northampton kept her umbrella open as she passed through a temporary awning in front of R. Michelson Galleries on Main Street during a light rain/snowfall on Monday. Many after-school activities, including games and practices, were canceled Monday afternoon because of concerns about mixed precipitation in the forecast. The longer-range forecast calls for mostly dry and mild conditions for the rest of the week.
