BELCHERTOWN – A young Belchertown boys volleyball team fell 3-0 against more-seasoned Minnechaug on Thursday to open the spring sports season. The Orioles have four returners and 11 freshmen in their program.
The Falcons prevailed 25-14, 25-19, 25-15.
Rainer Kristensen had 21 assists and an ace for Belchertown (0-1). Gabriel Ibekilo led the Orioles with three aces.
