Scientists have projected a window of 10 years before the human damage to the planet we call home becomes irreversible. The substantial and scary effects of climate change are visible in the unprecedented extremes of weather, the freak wildfires, the rising sea levels observed all across the globe.

Polar bears and whales are going to become majestic creatures the next generation only hears of in books and sees on a screen. We are moving closer and closer to a dystopian future where water is a luxury in most communities. We need to act now to prevent this nightmare from becoming reality and we have the opportunity — we still do — to make that happen by passing the 100% Renewable Energy Act.

With this act, Massachusetts would be at the forefront of clean energy and a leader in ensuring the continuity and prosperity of coming generations.
