Thanks to our wonderful community, the first Northampton Education Foundation Online Trivia Bee on April 13 was a great success!
We spent a fun evening dancing with friends and family in our living rooms, meeting pets, answering amazing questions, and raising money for inspiring, creative projects in our Northampton public schools. With the community’s help, NEF raised over $7,000 for our Small Grants program, which will fund educational experiences conceived and executed by teachers in our community. Past grants have been awarded to teach a wide variety of innovative programs including anti-racism education, the publication of a literary journal, and a course on how to code drones.
