SHUTESBURY — Voters will decide a race for a three-year seat on the Select Board Saturday in the lone contested election on the ballot.
Polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Town Hall. Much of the election will coincide with annual Town Meeting, taking place in the field behind Town Hall starting at 9 a.m.
Melissa Makepeace-O’Neil, a two-term incumbent, is facing a challenge from tree warden Don Wakoluk, who previously ran as a write-in candidate in 2021.
Many incumbents and some newcomers will be on the ballot in uncontested elections for many of the remaining positions.
