Please join me in voting for Sen. Eric Lesser as the next lieutenant governor of Massachusetts on Sept. 6.
I have known and worked with Eric for the last three and a half years. I am absolutely certain that Eric will lead on the issues that matter most to our region: public education, early child care, health care, the environment, transportation, economic development, and more. He has already developed policy expertise in all of these areas. He is already leading on critical policy changes.
Eric Lesser will need no time to warm up. He is already out front, sprinting. Eric understands that policy and budget decisions cannot be made according to a “one-size-fits-all” approach. This is absolutely critical for western Massachusetts. Eric knows our assets and our challenges not from policy briefings, but from personal experience. He’s our neighbor.
We must have someone in the corner office on Beacon Hill who isn’t from eastern Massachusetts. Eric is the only statewide candidate, for any office, from west of Interstate 495. Eric will be an outstanding partner for Maura Healey. Countless times I’ve watched him bring people together, broker solutions, and turn bold visions into reality. He’s the guy you want on our team if you – like Maura and like Eric – want to make the lives of people in Massachusetts better.
Eric has been a fighter for the cities in towns in Western Mass and he has the experience of solving our biggest problems in the Obama White House. On Sept. 6, let’s make sure Eric Lesser is our next lieutenant governor.
