As a Florence resident for 35 years, I would like to add my voice to those opposing the proposed marijuana dispensary at the corner of Main and Maple streets. The location is too prominent and the parking is too limited. Florence has its own unique character, different from the more urban Northampton and rural hilltowns. Florence is a family-friendly village; let us strive to maintain its charm.
