ROCHESTER, N.H. — A Whately man has died of his injuries following a motorcycle crash Saturday evening in Rochester, New Hampshire.

Kevin Komosa, 41, died at Frisbie Memorial Hospital on Sunday due to injuries he suffered when his 2016 Harley-Davidson motorcycle crossed the center line and went off the road. His 28-year-old passenger, Buckland resident Ashley Culver, also suffered serious injuries but is in stable condition, according to a statement from New Hampshire State Police.

State Police, along with the Rochester Fire Department, responded to the crash at around 8:30 p.m. on the Spaulding Turnpike Connector near the northbound Exit 16 off-ramp.

First responders took Komosa to Frisbie Memorial Hospital, while Culver was taken to Portsmouth Regional Hospital. According to State Police, neither rider was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

State Police spokeswoman Amber Lagace said the crash remains under investigation and no further information was available Thursday evening.
