HATFIELD — A driver was injured when the vehicle he was driving at a high rate of speed on North Hatfield Road near the railroad crossing rolled over five times, landing on its roof, around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to police.
The 30-year-old Hatfield man driving the vehicle was transported by Hatfield Ambulance to Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton, said Police Lt. Clinton Phillips.
The man, who was by himself in the vehicle, is being cited for speeding and failure to stay within marked lanes, Phillips said.
Aside from a tree that may have been hit by the vehicle, Phillips said there was no other property damage.
The heavily damaged vehicle was towed from the scene.
