NORTHAMPTON — Readers of the Daily Hampshire Gazette and the Amherst Bulletin can speak directly with the publisher and editorial team at an in-person community forum scheduled for Thursday night in Florence.
The forum at Florence Civic Center, 90 Park St., from 6:30-8 p.m. offers the chance to ask questions and provide feedback to publisher Shawn Palmer, executive editor Dan Crowley and other newsroom leaders.
“We are looking forward to talking with readers about the Gazette and introducing some of the newest members of our editorial team,” Crowley said. “After holding a few virtual community forums during the pandemic last year, we found them to be very productive sessions and did a lot of listening. Our goal is to help answer any questions about our work, the newspaper, and to learn how we can better serve readers.”
Panelists also include managing editor Chad Cain, photo editor Carol Lollis, sports editor Jeff Lajoie and assistant editor Scout Opatut.
