On Oct. 28, this newspaper reported the conclusions of a UN progress report on greenhouse gas emissions. It said the nations of the world are not doing nearly enough to reduce their dependence on fossil fuels. Meanwhile oil and gas companies are taking advantage of the war in Ukraine by price-gouging the public and raking-in astronomical profits. A yes vote also indicates your participation in our democracy. Vote yes on the carbon cash-back public policy Question 5.
