Once again, our great military leaders have astounded me with their latest major project. They have concluded that some of our southern Army posts must change their names to ensure we are keeping our country secure, or have we offended someone with their current names? Who cares what the name is, it’s been that way for over 100 years, and no one has complained until now so why change it? I think a more important project would be maintaining career personnel and reevaluating the directive on discharging quality volunteers because they refused to take a COVID-19 shot. How about focusing on the problems with recruiting and training persons who will be the first line of protection for the country? Hey, the recruiting numbers are down. Hey, what are you doing about that? Wake up! If you ask a career soldier where his next assignment is, and he tells you Fort Bragg you know he is going to North Carolina but if he says Camp Liberty you might think he is going to a summer day camp. Just wondering if our great leaders were the captain of the Titanic would they be more concerned about the placement of the deck chairs as the ship went down?
