Seven different players found the back of the net, as the Williston Northampton girls hockey team thumped Pomfret, 10-0, in action on Saturday.

Jenna Guglielmi and Olivia Ferebee combined for the win in the Wildcats net.

Elsewhere, the Williston boys basketball team went on the road and took down Wilbraham Monson, 72-53 on Saturday.

Grgur Brcic and Connor Jenkins led the way with 19 and 18 points, respectively.

In other action, the Williston boys swimming team edged Milton by seven points to win the 2022 Kingswood Invitational.

Teppei Morita and Kei Imai put together a big finish in the 100-yard breaststroke.  

The girls swimming team won the Kingswood Invitational, led by the performances of Katya Krasnovskaya, Campbell Collins and Andie Kinstle.

Elsewhere, the girls varsity squash dropped a 7-0 decision to St. Mark’s. Playing at No. 1, Olivia Zaiken took a tough St. Mark’s opponent to four sets.

The girls varsity basketball fell to Suffield, 43-29. High scorers for the Cats were Skyler Walker and Margaret Edwards with 10 points apiece, and Kristen Trembley with 7. The defensive effort was keyed by Trembley and Morgan Dulude.
