HUNTINGTON — Police are investigating the circumstances around the discovery of two bodies inside their home in Huntington, according to the Northwestern district attorney’s office.
Gary Rom, 70, and Evelyn Korfias, 59, both of 12 Nagler Cross Road, were discovered deceased in their residence by a friend who stopped by on Wednesday afternoon.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is determining the precise cause of death, but investigators do not suspect foul play.
The couple owned Huntington Liquors and Korfias was also a member of the town’s Planning Board.
State Police detectives assigned to the office of the Northwestern district attorney are assisting town police with the investigation.
