Columnist Bill Danielson’s weekly essays and intimate bird photos are a delight. His descriptions are colorful, as are the birds themselves, whose photos deserve to appear in color. How does a black-and-white photo do justice to the Ruby-crowned Kinglet in the Gazette’s Oct. 25 edition?
