The Granby boys volleyball team pulled off another five-set match victory with a five-set win over Athol on Friday.

Set scores read 25-23, 19-25, 25-21, 24-26 and 15-10 in favor of Granby, which improved to 11-5. Three straight Rams wins have now been decided in five sets.

Braeden Gallagher and Daniel Santiago bashed 35 total kills for the Rams, while Nathan Walsh compiled 46 assists. Santiago also paced Granby in digs with 10.

The Rams continue to adjust without one of their top performers following Jake Gagnon’s season-ending injury in practice in April. Granby moved to 4-3 since Gagnon has been sidelined.

Just two regular-season games remain for the Rams, with their last home game set for Wednesday, May 14 versus Frontier.

Holyoke 3, SICS 0 – The Purple Knights are now winners of three out of their last four following the victory against the Bulldogs.

Holyoke (6-10) will visit Southwick in its season finale on Tuesday.
