HADLEY — A Chesterfield man who allegedly injured another man with tree loppers during an altercation on Honey Pot Road was arrested Monday morning, according to police.
Edward Kolosewicz, of 147 East St., was taken into custody at 11:30 a.m. on a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, police said.
The arrest was made after officers found the other man had been stabbed in the back area and was evaluated by Hadley Fire Department and Action EMS personnel. The victim was then transported by one of the two ambulances on scene to Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton for treatment of the puncture wound and minor lacerations.
Kolosewicz, who since last December has owned Hadley property at 39 Honey Pot, was also evaluated by paramedics before being taken to the police station for booking. He was later transferred to the Eastern Hampshire District Court in Belchertown.
