My heartfelt thanks to the Daily Hampshire Gazette, especially to staff writer Samuel Gelinas and photographer Daniel Jacobi II for the recent article about my work at Tapestry Health: “A career full of care closes ,” published on July 3.
I feel honored and humbled by this acknowledgment and have been incredibly touched by the outpouring of appreciation and gratitude from so many former and present clients, staff and students, and from the wider community of the Pioneer Valley. I have even had a letter from someone now living in Greece!
I also want to publicly thank Mayor Gina-Louise Sciarra for awarding me a “Recognition of Service” to the City of Northampton, and State Sen. Jo Comerford for a citation on behalf of the Senate of Massachusetts for my lifetime “commitment to the health and well being of people in Western Massachusetts.”
But foremost I want to thank all those hundreds of clients who have entrusted their health and care to me, some of whom I have known since they were teenagers!
It has truly been my privilege to have had this opportunity to do work that I have loved for so many years .
