HADLEY — Je Bong Kim is being identified by the Northwestern district attorney’s office as the 82-year-old man struck and killed by two vehicles on Route 9 Sunday.
Occurring just after 9 p.m. in the area of 73 Russell St., the Big Y Express gas station, car wash and convenience store, Kim died from his injuries after being hit by the vehicles.
The incident is being investigated by Hadley Police, State Police detectives attached to the Northwestern district attorney’s office, and State Police troopers with the Crime Scene Services Section and the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine Kim’s cause of death.
