On Tuesday, July 29, JamrogHVAC edged out Splash Bandits 12-10 in an absolute thriller of a game at Maines Field in Florence to clinch the A Division Championship in the Northampton Summer Coed Softball League.
Big hits, clutch plays and tremendous defense from both sides made the title game one to remember. A late rally over the final two innings by JamrogHVAC propelled them to victory. It was a night of great competition, awesome energy and top-notch sportsmanship — a showcase of what recreational softball is all about.
This was an unprecedented eighth consecutive summer league championship for JamrogHVAC, a local HVAC and plumbing company who has sponsored the team since 2009. The team is managed by Patrick Fenton and the roster includes Todd Ansaldo, Anthony Fabozzi, Maria Fabozzi, Joe Fabozzi, Molly Fenton, Patrick Fenton, Jim Hayes, Scott LaFlamm, Emma Leblanc, Lauren LeBlanc, Shauna, Looze, Kate O’Mally, Mikayla Panko, Grace Perechinsky, Austin Rogers, Kevin Rogers, Torrey Trust, Amanda Wendt and Jeff Zach.
