Candice Chouinard, who owns and runs Northampton day care center Wild Garden Of Childhood Nursery, picks sunflowers in a field off Ventures Field Road in Northampton. Chouinard said she planted the sunflowers as a cover crop. "We are trying to get children back to nature so we decided to plant a fun cover crop this year," she says. Staff Photo/Carol Lollis
