I would like to thank Arvid Nelson for the well-thought-out and researched Aug. 8 guest column [“Picture Main Street needs a trial run”]. It makes good sense to have a “trial run” for Picture Main Street. If all goes well, we know that we are on the right track. However, if the trial run shows that it simply would not work and would be a terrible mistake, then we will have saved ourselves a lot of grief and money.
