Donald A. LaRochelle
Easthampton, MA – Donald A. LaRochelle, 88, of Easthampton, passed
away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Cooley Dickinson Hospital due to
complications from pneumonia.
Born in Northampton, Don was the son of the late Alfred and Agnes
(Wade) LaRochelle. He was also predeceased by his siblings Ralph
LaRochelle and Shirley (Garvey).
Don proudly served eight years in the Massachusetts National Guard and
received three honorable discharges. Throughout his life, he held
several positions with local companies, including Advertising Corp. of
America, Multicolor, and finally retired from Tubed Products in 2002.
Don is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Lorraine (Lefevre)
LaRochelle; and their three children: Theresa Dean and her husband
James, Pamela Reil, and Scott LaRochelle and his husband Patrick
Korsak. He also leaves behind siblings Peter LaRochelle, Donna
(Guertin), Paula (Guyette), and Martha (Hurlburt); six grandchildren;
two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Don’s life will be announced at a later date. In lieu
of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to organizations
focused on Alzheimer’s or cancer research, causes that touched his
life deeply.
