John Patrick Duggan
WILLIAMSBURG, MA – John P. Duggan Sr., 78, of Williamsburg passed away
peacefully at the Center for Extended Care in Amherst on Monday,
September 15, 2025. He was born July 3, 1947, to the late William and
Marion (Bodah) Duggan. John was born in Northampton and grew up going
to local schools. He then graduated from Rockland State Hospital
School of Nursing in Orangeburg, NY. He continued his education at
UMass earning a bachelor’s degree in nursing. John worked at the State
hospital in Northampton and then VA Medical Center for over 30 years.
He loved antique cars and enjoyed going to car shows. He was an avid
reader and loved books. John will be greatly missed by his wife of 53
years Christina (Gooler) Duggan, his two sons, Bryan Duggan of
Williamsburg, John Duggan Jr. and his wife Rebecca of Leeds, his
sister Margaret Lasalle of Feeding Hills, and his brother William
Duggan Jr. of West Springfield. All services for John will be held
