MARGARET BOULANGER
Northampton, MA – Margaret Boulanger, 92, passed away on September 21,
2025 in Holyoke. She was born on October 12, 1932 in Northampton to
William and Nellie (Kearney) Maher.
Margaret attended St. Michael’s High School before later graduating
from Cooley Dickinson School of Nursing. She worked for many years as
a Private Duty Nurse for families in the local area.
She married her former husband, Gerald Boulanger, and the two went on
to have their four children.
Margaret’s greatest joy in life was her love for her family. She also
enjoyed her weekly sister’s day, where they would share stories, laugh
and carry on with their shenanigans while playing cards together.
Margaret is predeceased by her parents, her son David Boulanger, her
siblings John Maher, Robert Maher, Katherine Murphy, Eleanor Orechia,
Lillian Niedzwiecki and Alice Brady.
Margaret is survived by her children, Ann Marie Greco and her husband
James of Hatfield, Jacklyn Szawlowski of Hatfield and Deborah
Boulanger of Ludlow, her 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren as
well as many nieces and nephews.
Calling Hours will be held on Friday September 26 from 5pm-7pm at the
Czelusniak Funeral Home, 173 North Street Northampton. Margaret’s
funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
