I have known Northampton Ward 3 City Councilor Quaverly Rothenberg for 11 years and to call her anything but welcoming is a gross mischaracterization. When we met, she walked right up and introduced herself and treated me to a scintillating conversation and we have been friends ever since. I’ve found that scintillation to be backed up by humanity, compassion, and drive.
I have witnessed Quaverly work tenaciously for her family and community, overcoming significant challenges with grace and resourcefulness. She has always been willing to lend a hand when it’s within her capacity. I can’t see why anyone would attack Quaverly, unless it is that they don’t like her honesty.
