Surely few Gazette readers reject guest columnist Veronica Darmon’s observation (“Council resolution sows further division,” Oct. 2) that “the denial of atrocities is … a dangerous effort to erase history, delegitimize the suffering of victims, and excuse the perpetrators.” It’s telling, then, that readers find no mention of the genocide Israel is committing against Palestinians in her piece.
